When I asked Google a few questions about image eg the main idea of image I got the below:-

The main idea of a picture tells what the picture is all about. It tells the most important thing about the picture. A detail of a picture tells one small thing about the picture.
One of the primary purposes of image is to convey information or a message. Biblical context for image is resemblance or shadow.
So further into the biblical perspective “we are made in God’s image”, I draw a conclusion that the most important elements that craft one’s image are not what’s visible to the eye. Referencing to God’s image we are looking at the intangible ie morals, intellectual character which you cannot “see” with the natural eye.
Then looking at our day to day, one can put more energy and effort to ‘fix’ what is visible to the eye and little and sometimes no effort to what I believe is the most important the inner being.
You see, exterior may tick all the boxes (clean dressing, neat hair, #smile when you greet etc) but if the inner has not been worked on it actually recreates another mental visual to those that encounter you. When they say “he does dress well and carries himself with confidence, but the moment he starts to speak, everything crumbles.
It’s so important to to build your #image holistically ie ensuring the 5 dimensions have adequate attention.
I believe starting from the inside out does a quicker work.
In some of my trainings on image I’ve had questions on dressing “why can’t I just do what I want, I don’t care about the rest it’s all drama, you can’t please everyone”. 9 times out of 10 if you research into their lifestyle you’ll see that there has been very minimal work done on the inner image and focus on one dimension of imagine ie self-physical.
Starting from the inside out literally takes away some questions that may have selfish intent because of the work you put in, building your moral value, intellectual strength to mention a few.
The work you put in, will see you carrying yourself differently, with more love, respect and appreciation that you are #unique. And you’ll minimise on frustrations of trying to be someone else.
Furthermore, working on the inner you helps you to know “who you are”. What we see only tells a fraction of the story, what you say with words and actions through lifestyle contributes to the rest.
So my questions to you today:-
📍What does your image communicate?
📍What does your personal brand carry to the table?
📍What do you think you are remembered for?
📍What do people associate with your personal brand?
Building the right image is not necessarily buying amazing clothes, but starting the work from the inside out.
Zero in on all 5 dimensions of self-image and see your value increase.
